Paul’s Internet Marketing Plans for 2012
I got started out online in the mid 1990′s by publishing a motivational and personal development newsletter via email and my first taste of making money online was when people started approaching me to place ads for them. I made a few bucks that way until I sold the list of about 14,000 email addresses to a big company that was well known at the time.
After that, I went into search engine optimization, then running my own blog search engine, my own blog network, etc. But the one thing I’ve gotten more satisfaction out of than anything else was creating my own personal development & business ebooks, reports and other products and marketing them to others.
For the past three years, however, I haven’t been doing much in the way of writing or marketing, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been sitting idle. I’ve been doing intense, deep research into the inner workings of the human mind – in particular – how the mind is manipulated by less than scrupulous individuals and organizations, from scamsters to governments and the mainstream media.
It’s been a rough road for me personally over those three years. The first year was spent as a journalist writing for two online news sites. It’s where I had a chance to do real investigation and honed my research skills. Plus it gave me a good taste of how corrupt the mainstream media actually is. The second year was spent dabbling in various things but any spare time and late nights I had were spent studying conspiracy theories, digging in to hidden and forgotten documents and generally trying to wrap my mind around what is actually happening in this crazy world of ours.
The third year, 2011 is probably the most interesting year I’ve ever had in terms oflearning about myself. I had spent 2 years pulling back the curtain and seeing the wizard that no one else would admit was there even though they could see him with their own eyes. The mind is a funny thing that way – people will believe the grim reaper is a big cuddly friend even though he’s raising his axe above their heads and swinging it.
For the first few months of 2011 I sat in horror at how oblivious people are. But I also realized one important thing – If they think the dream world they live in is real, who am I to try and wake them up to the harsh reality of what’s actually going on? They have to figure it out for themselves. It’s sad but true. Realizing that, it was time to come to grips with it and move on, to something I love doing – helping people who are actively looking for help and genuinely wanting to improve the quality of their lives.
So over the holidays I sat in deep thought, contemplating how I could help a few others while I helped myself. And I decided to go back to my roots online. Armed with my newfound knowledge of ‘human nature’ and my previous knowledge and experience in internet marketing I can make a positive impact on anyone willing to move their own lives in a positive direction.
So over the past 10 days I’ve been laying out the plans for the foundation of a new business and direction in life. I’ve been working on a few initial reports on personal development where I go into the basics of what I’ve learned in a positive way, rather than the classic “wake up before it’s too late!” narrative we see so often.
In the first 6 months of this year I plan on publishing about 15-20 short special reports that’ll sell for anywhere from $4 to $20, but the majority of them will be under $10. The reports will bring in a modest income as well as expose a lot of people to my work. I’ll leverage that exposure when in a few months I begin publishing a paid subscription newsletter backed by a private members site and forum where members can safely interact and network with like minded people without the fear of ridicule and trolls that comes with a public site. There’ll be more going on too as things develop of their own volition.
So in conclusion, this site is changing direction in terms of subject matter. I’ll be posting a lot more in general and most of those posts will be centered around internet marketing, personal development and the inner workings of the human mind. Those are topics that fascinate and excite me to no ends. I hope you get just as much out of it as I will.

To be honest, some days when I look at how abusive world governments have become and how hungry they are for power I almost lose all hope. There are times when I feel like I don’t want to be a part of this planet anymore.
But then I see the advances we’re making with technology. I find hope in the concept that technology may be advancing so fast that politicians simply can’t regulate it anymore than they can regulate the sun.
With the rise of new technology there will always be a need for men and women who can learn and adapt faster than any school system can. The future is all about personal development because there is no other way to cope with all of the changes going on.
This is why the smart ones will be listening to what you have to say. The rest will keep watching their scheduled programming.
Their corporate overlords will be so proud of them.
